Brussels Pawesome Dog Walking @ Bruxelles

Hi! I’m Malavika and I’m a 19 year old undergrad student at KUL. I’ve always loved animals and I absolutely adore everything to do with them from basic caretaking to spending time with them on a daily. When I was much younger I wanted to become a vet but I later realised that it would require studying sciences which I’m not very interested in. I want to be able to have my own shelter someday, it’s my lifelong goal :)
My dad’s family has a pet back home in Qatar, an absolute cutie called Snoopy. He’s a Maltese who just turned a year old a couple months back, and i absolutely love him!! He’s the light of my life. I’ve also volunteered at shelters- at SPCA singapore for 6 months last year during which i helped take care of the shelter dogs for 12-20 hours a week minimum. Apart from this my boyfriend of 1.5 years has 5 cats at home and I was constantly at his place so I learned how to get along with and take care of cats as well!
I’m great with pets, and I know how to adapt myself to the comfort level of each pet. I know that as enjoyable and rewarding as having pets are, it can also be tiresome and it is something that definitely requires patience and effort. But I think i’ve had sufficient experience to be able to build a trusting relationship with any pet and take care of them the way they should be. On top of that I’m always willing to learn more and become better at what I do :)
The most rewarding bit about what I do has got to be earning a pet’s trust and building a rapport from thereon. It can be trying and difficult to get there, but with the right approach and patience it’s definitely possible- and very rewarding.
