Whenever Your Dog Needs A Walk @ Amsterdam-Centrum

I’ve been around animals my entire life and love being around them and understanding the world through them and with them.
I grew up with horses, goats, chicken and loads of cats. I had my own dog Fido, a cocker spaniel, from I was 9 to 22 years old. I’m hoping to get a new dog within the year. I currently have a 3 month old kitten Samhain. We don’t have a garden so I’m training her to walk in a lead in the park which is going really well.
With me as your pet sitter you’ll find someone reliable and loyal to your pet. I have worked as a dog sitter for the last 2 years looking after mainly the same 2 dogs, a whippet and a chihuahua. I’m the dog sitter that prioritise building up a relationship with fewer dogs than having many different. I like to get to know its personality taking it slow and sense what the animal need. I realise - from having pets myself - what a huge responsibility it is to leave your pet with a stranger and I take it really seriously! When you have an agreement with me I’ll always follow through.
I love being in nature taking dogs for long walks and maybe even swimming with them. I really enjoy experiencing the day through their eyes seeing them play and greet other dogs in the park. I like getting exercise and fresh air - I always feel like theirs nothing better for my mood than being around animals.

I trained my own dog from puppy to adult and visited dog schools with him. Currently I’m training my kitten on how to behave indoor and on a lead outside. I have good understanding of pets need for structures and boundaries while still just having loads of fun together.
