I’m 22, I was born in Brazil and I moved to Lisbon two years ago and also I study Pharmaceutical Sciences at the University of Lisbon.
I have been rescuing animals since I was ten. I have always been extremely empathetic and responsible towards all kinds of living creatures and I’ve always loved studying the science behind animals behavior and health so I understand them better. Seeing animals needs being met gives me an intense feeling of happiness and I’ve never been able to ignore any animal in need, which is why I’ve always rescued so many animals even though my family didn’t support me. I come from a poor city in Brazil where animals are treated really poorly, so after some years of rescuing animals and building relationships with people, I was able to work with NGOs dedicated to rescuing animals and finding them new homes (you can check on insta: @gateirostucujus and @anjosprotetoresong ) I have a lot of experience with all sorts of animals (with behavioral, physical, emotional problems) since I’ve rescued and looked after so many animals that had been through the worst physical and mental traumas you can imagine.
I can see life’s true meaning when I look into animals eyes. Their purity fascinates me and I absolutely love making sure they’re healthy and happy.

[Tenho 22 anos, nasci no Brasil e mudei-me para Lisboa há dois anos e estudo Ciências Farmacêuticas na Universidade de Lisboa.
Venho resgatando animais desde os dez anos. Sempre fui extremamente empática e responsável em relação a todos os tipos de criaturas vivas e sempre adorei estudar a ciência por trás do comportamento e da saúde dos animais, para entendê-los melhor. Ver as necessidades dos animais serem atendidas me dá um intenso sentimento de felicidade e nunca pude ignorar nenhum animal necessitado, e é por isso que sempre resgatei tantos animais, mesmo sem o apoio de minha família.
Eu venho de uma cidade pobre no Brasil, onde os animais são muito mal tratados; portanto, depois de alguns anos resgatando animais e construindo relacionamentos com pessoas, pude trabalhar com ONGs dedicadas a resgatar animais e encontrar novos lares para eles (podes checar no insta: @gateirostucujus e @anjosprotetoresong ) . Tenho muita experiência com todos os tipos de animais (com problemas comportamentais, físicos, emocionais) já que salvei e cuidei de tantos animais que passaram pelos piores traumas físicos e mentais que você pode imaginar.

I’ve had several dogs and cats. I live with my parents and two brothers, so I currently have a cat, my oldest brother has a dog and my youngest brother has a hamster. They’re all extremely adorable with us and other people but they hate each other! So I’ve got a lot of experience with dealing with stressful situations and meeting different needs/interests.

I’ve developed all sorts of skills with dealing with animals after so many years of rescuing traumatized animals in Brazil. All I want is them to be happy and healthy. My empathy and understanding towards them is profound and I will always do everything I can for them no matter what the circumstance is.
