Having been a cat-mom back in Istanbul, and pets/animals are my favorite thing in life. I spent a lot of time with cats in Istanbul (it's the city of cats) and when I moved to Lisbon and I missed being with them a lot! I decided pet-backing might be a wonderful way to connect with kitties again, and I've taken care of 10+ cats in my home in Lisbon.
My hometown has a lot of stray pets. Throughout my life, I've taken care of countless foster cats who needed care due to injury, illness or pregnancy/birth. I raised 20+ kittens from birth and happily gave some of them for adoption to their forever homes. I have experience with daily cat needs (litter, feeding, brushing, playing...) as well as taking care of cats with special needs because one of my own cats (back home, not in Lisbon) is blind.

Hello, I'm Zeynep!
I'm 28 and originally from Istanbul (the city of cats!). I moved to Lisbon in 2022 and I do petsitting as a side hustle alongside my work-from-home job in tech.
I've loved and cared for animals since childhood, and became a cat mom in my early 20s. I find that pet-backing is a wonderful opportunity to ease my longing to be in the company of cats, since my own two cats are back in Istanbul with my family.
I can board your cats in my 90 m2 apartment where I work from home. I currently don't have any pets of my own so your cats won't have to meet another cat during their stay. Your cat will have full access to the whole house and I will send you photos/videos regularly if requested. You can be sure that they'll be well cared for, loved and played with!
If you have multiple kitties, I can comfortably take care of them all together. Your cats will have access to my whole apartment and will be able to free roam and chill wherever they wish. All pictures on my profile are of kitties who have been happy guests in my home. Let me know if you have any more questions!
