Pet daycare is similar to pet sitting and pet boarding but it is a short-term boarding service for pets. It is most suitable for pet parents who have a busy schedule and the often prolonged hours at work drastically reduce the time that could be spent with their pet children. With pet daycare, pet owners will no longer feel guilty about not having enough time or energy to play with their pets after a long day of work because at the end of every day, they will always pick up a perfectly happy (and played out) pet.
A typical Dog Daycare activity schedule by some of our pet sitter are like the below:
8:00 – 11:00 am Morning Activities
The dog will participate with other friends in ball-fetching, chasing games, wrestling and many special activities.
11:00 – 11:30 am Individual Attention
Food distribution, each dog has a few special moments alone with a pet care technician.
11:30 – 1:30 pm Nap Time
Dogs rest in their cage or kennel with soft music and lights out. This is an important quiet time as the dog has had a very active morning and will need to relax and recharge.
1:30 – 4:00 pm Afternoon Activities
In the afternoon, the dog will experience a slower pace of play like dog walking, just as much fun but with less vigor.
4:00 – 4:30 pm Individual Attention
Daycare dogs leaving to go home spend this time relaxing and getting cleaned up.
4:30 – 6:30 pm Pick Up Time
Each dog unwinds and relaxes before their guardian arrives to take him or her home. Some of our Pet sitter or Boarders will also offer taxi services to send the dog back to your house
Please negotiate with the pet sitter via the messaging feature in the Petbacker app before you hire the pet sitter and pay through PetBacker for your peace of mind. Always engage a pet sitter with good reviews and more trust points instead of looking for the best price.
