Hi I’m Cassandra and I’m 21 this year!
I’ve been taking care of pets of some form (dogs, cats, rodents and rabbits) since I was young and have spent all my life being surrounded by them :)
Right now I’m the proud owner of an 11 y/o senior Maltese-shih Tzu mix and 2 young rabbits. I’ve been the main caretaker of my dog since I was a kid and since she was a 3 month old puppy, and I’m currently the sole caretaker of my hamster and rabbits!
- Over 12 years of experience taking care of both my dog and other people’s dogs & over 15 years of experience caring for rodents.
- Daily pictures/videos of your pet when they are with me will be sent to you :)
- I’m very attentive to the behaviour of pets so I would know if something is wrong and you would immediately be notified should I find any worries.

I also have multiple experience taking care of other senior dogs and dogs with disabilities so if medication/being placed in wheelchair/special physiotherapy is needed, rest assured you can entrust me with these special tasks :)

Besides those points, I’ve taken in a pregnant stray cat before to foster for awhile before handing her over to CWS for them to bring her to the vet and ensuring that she has a safe delivery of her kittens :)

All in all I’m a really friendly person who’s enthusiastic working with animals. I’m also really patient and gentle when working with senior pets and those with special needs in general.
Being able to spend time with pets has helped me go through many tough times that I’ve faced over the years and also taught me so many things about caring for pets in general. Being a pet sitter has also allowed me to care for dogs with various disabilities and allows me to better understand on how to manage pets that need a different or special approach.
