I am an animal lover, and find fulfilment in caring for and interacting with animals. In turn, the animals can sense this and reciprocate in bonding with me.
Over the years I have looked after several dogs, namely a Pomeranian over 2 years, a mixed breed over 17 years and my daughter’s French Bulldog over 2 years. I helped in the feeding, giving of medication, bathing, grooming, playing, walking and interacting with the dogs. All this was very fulfilling and facilitated my bonding with each of them.
I exercise patience in seeking to understand the temperament and needs of the pets to forge a relationship with them. I have retired from the public service and am looking to help pet owners care for their animals.
When the pets respond positively and are well, it gives me a sense of fulfilment.
