I am a true animal lover, all shapes and sizes, they bring out the best in me and I like to think that I can bring the best out of them. They’ve allowed me to learn new things, bought me out of my shell and have given me so much responsibility that I have always loved and needed.
I have always loved animals, I had grown up with cats but in the past 7 years I have owned cats, birds (cockatiels, budgies, parrotlets and lovebirds), reptiles (corn snakes, a tortoise, chameleons, leopards/crested geckos, fire/blue tongue skinks, Amazon milk/pac man frogs, yellow/red bellied toads and a yellow Ackie monitor) and small animals (guinea pigs, rabbits, degus, chinchillas, rats, Syrian/dwarf hamsters, gerbils and African Pygmy hedgehogs) which has been amazing and I have done cat and dog sitting along with fostering animals for the RSPCA.
Due to this I have learned to groom my animals (fur cuts, baths and claw clipping), administer different types of medications, help them come out of their shells, bond animals (rabbits, cats, guinea pigs, and birds) and care for all ill animals.

Summary.
Whilst adopting rodents and reptiles who need a loving home is very rewarding, it is nice to have some new faces staying for a little holiday. Here they will be loved and cared! We will do anything possible to ensure that they settle in as easily as possible. Due to previous experience adopting and fostering animals from the RSPCA we are used to all types on animals with different temperaments which makes it easier to gain an animals trust.
