Those words are music to my soul and I hear them often.

I am a fulltime stay at home pet parent with over2 decades experience caring for non-human persons (my preferred manner of describing pets. :-) ) As a writer and piano teacher, I am home most of the day, so I have lots and lots of time to devote to your non-human child. I live in a home with a fenced in back yard, have crates, both large and small, already set up for the doggies who use them. Although I do not currently have a cat companion, I do love the kitties and have litter and litter boxes on the ready. I offer complimentary meet and greets for new clients so we're all sure we're well matched. As for my own household, I have1 dog of my own, an Australian Shepherd named Bark Lee who has the sweetest disposition I could ask for. And although Bark Lee is currently without a cat companion if his own, he grew up with1 and he hangs with my mom's whenever he goes to visit, so if you need your cat sat, you'll have no worries at my house! I have no children at home nor any other pets who live with me. Neither Bark Lee nor I smoke nor do we allow smoking in our home. Since I can only guarantee Bark Lee's behaviour and since I am dedicated to insuring the best possible care for the non-human I am honored to attend to, I only care for1 family at a time. I will sit up to3 family members at1 time in my own home. I will sit as many family members as your have in your home. When I am away, Bark Lee stays with my mom, so you don't have to worry about an unexpected guest showing up at your place. :-) I offer doggie daycare when I have a space available. I currently have1 space available, but since I only sit1 dog in doggie daycare, contact me soon if that is a service you desire. I also offer check-in services as well as dog walking services, but again, space is limited as I am committed to exceptional quality care. I sit and have experience with dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages including seniors and those with special needs. I'm as comfortable with a senior Great Dane as I am with a puppy Chihuahua or a3-legged bulldog. I also sit well mannered pitties after a complimentary meet and greet. What can you expect while your family member is in my care? First and foremost you can expect I will love her or him as if s/he is my very own. The reason I never overbook is because pet care, not a paycheck, is always priority1. You can expect photos and updates throughout the stay and that I will be available for you to contact 24/7. You can expect any special needs will be seen to and any medication needed will be administered without fail. You can expect your family member's at home routine to be kept to as closely as possible. If he is allowed on your furniture, he's allowed on mine. If she sleeps in your bed with you, she will sleep in the bed with me. If furniture and beds are a no-no at your house, they're no-nos at mine. If romps at the dog park are part of the day with you, they're part of the day with me. If the dog park isn't frequented with you, we'll stay home and play in the backyard. If you prefer taking walks with your companion, I'll put on my sneakers and walk with him while he's with me. I primarily sit dogs and cats, but I have experience with LOTS of other non-humans such as chinchillas, parrots, parakeets, ponies, degus, rats, guinea pigs, hamsters, rabbits, and horses. Yep, I do love the non-humans! I even love the reptiles, I just don't sit them because I can't feed them. :-)
