My wife and I love dogs and couldn't think of our life without one or more around our home!
We share our home today with our 7 year old Jack Russel "Daisy". Yes, a Jack is an energetic dog but she loves to cuddle at the end of the day and there's more than one lap to fill. We have had as many as three dogs when an ailing parent came to live with us. Great chaos!
We prefer smaller dogs than larger but probably due to frequent road trips in the car.

Summary.
A day at Jan's generally starts at 6:15AM with a visit to the garden and a ball toss weather permitting. Our dog (Daisey) will chase the ball as long as I will throw it. Maybe your dog can help me ware her out a bit! Treats await after morning garden play. Food and water is always available.
I work from home and my wife is also generally around so your pet will always have a human to keep them company.
Visits to the garden is whenever needed!
If your dog prefers a laid back lifestyle, they can keep me company in my office in a quiet part of our home.
