Booked this sitter for a second time since the first one was a good experience. This is my second and last time time.I can understand where that one single 1 star rating from Ingrid was coming from. I came back after 14 days holiday, only to find evidence that she does not visi ...Read Moret the cat everyday. In a total of two weeks there is 3 big bags of litter in my kitchen bin (which I explicitly instructed her not to, and to use the general bin outside the house). 1. If anything this indicates she cleaned the litterboxes three times in the time span of two weeks. I know how much my cat eats, poops and pee. Never has he NOT poop/pee every single day. When I came back his litterboxes were overflowing. If she really did come everyday (meaning she was around the day before), this would not have happened. 2. The cat water bowl was bone dry. This is peculiar since if she came the day before there should be some water still left in the water bowl. My cat was parched when I came back meaning he didnt drink for two days at least. This was what ticked me off about what was happening. 3. Several used bowls for cat food was out. Meaning she fed the cat several days worth of serving at once. When I asked why she said she gave him extra food. But I calculate every single can of food left, she infact was short of giving him wet food. She gave an excuse she gave him food that I donated, which is rubbish since the reason the food was donated was because the cat doesnt eat that food at all. (Also i explicitly instructed what food to give him, meaning if she did give donated food like she claimed, she was going against instruction). I also measured dry food, she also didnt give my cat the amount that was logical for two weeks. The bag was supposed to be empty by the end of two weeks but it was 3/4 full. 4. I trusted her with my house keys. I excused her delaying in giving it back, with one of her many colourful reasons being going to the uni office for visa issues on a Sunday. However I cannot tolerate the fact that 5 minutes before scheduled time she had her friend give back my house keys to me. Its high unprofessional to give someone else’s house keys to a friend. Whatever the excuse may be, I did not consent my house keys to be passed around complete strangers. In fact I feel unsafe now and my husband has insisted I make a police report in case my house keys were duplicated. If anything this experience taught me to never trust petsitters, next time around I definitely will install a CCTV to monitor. A word of caution to pet parents out there, its worth that extra few hundred to make sure you pets are in safe hands.
