Hello dog owners! My name is Catherine.I owned and cared for my golden retriever MOJO since April 2005. I have since grown to live and love dogs. I couldn’t take my eyes away from these lovable pets whenever I come across any. I have opted for early retirement but I’m still physically active and strong. Dog walking service came straight to my mind as something I will look forward to do! I’m so looking forward to meet you and your dogs. For some years, I had been a dog handler in animal assisted activities when MOJO volunteered at children’s homes, nursing homes and reading programs offered by Dyslexia Association of Singapore. And it opened up opportunities for me to get close to other dog breeds and enjoy their wonderful companionship.
My golden MOJO passed away in Dec 2018 at the age of 14. We used to volunteer for Healing Paws under the umbrella of Save Our Street Dogs organisation. Mojo lived in the house with us and moved freely. We enjoyed each other’s company during our volunteering sessions and his twice daily walks in the mornings and evenings. He’s an outdoor boy and we often visited his favourite Parks like Upper/Lower Pierce Reservoirs and Botanic Garden. He’s such a darling when he sat by me as I cooked his meals. Ate anything and everything that I cooked. MOJO was diagnosed with cancer and had 1 of his digit removed in 2016. He fought well during the difficult period. In 2017, Mojo suffered from massive gum bleeding and 2018 his cancer relapsed. My fear for blood was overcome by my strong love for Mojo when I nursed him during the times when he needed me most. My darling inspired me to write little stories and songs about his life which we shared during our volunteering sessions. MOJO has been my pride and his presence taught me the true meaning of unconditional love.
I will give my 100% attention to your dogs as being responsible and passionate about what I do is important from the moment I commit to a job. Dogs are such intelligent animals only they can tell if I’m genuine and friendly.
I love nature just like my Mojo. We visited nature Parks often. Personally I go for brisk walking 5-7 times a week. Therefore walking comes naturally and enjoyable for your dog and me.

MY BOARDING SERVICES INCLUDE:
- 1-2 walks per day
- a typical day starts with morning walking follow by water/feeding time (bring own leash, hair brush, DRY food, own water/food bowls/poo bags/pee pads/newspapers/diapers/wet tissues) NOTE: DOGS WHICH HAVE THE TENDENCY TO MARK THE HOUSE MUST BE ON DIAPERS. Body and paw cleaning will be done after each walk
- rest/nap (own bed)
- treats time (own treats) or apples or carrots, if this is suitable for your dog
- play time (own toys)
- rest/nap
- evening walk (if dogs don’t sleep during the day and run around the house and requires close supervision, this is deemed as sufficient exercise and NO evening walk will be carried out). Dinner (own food) will follow.
Water is available throughout the day. I will encourage your dogs to drink water.
If your dog is used to home cooked meals, I’m open for discussion.
If your dog has a need for an additional potty break outside, I can accommodate. It all depends on your dog.
To dog owners, I believe safety for their pets is their first priority and to dog boarders, nothing beats being responsible and true to each lovely fur friend! I provide a dog friendly and safe environment, cage free and have a great sense of responsibility towards people and pets under my care. My family had 2 dogs, a cross breed corgi and a golden retriever. We brought them up till they passed away at ages 15 & 14 respectively. Personally I spent a lot of time with them as the other family members were often busy with work and studies. They were grass trained. To me, waking up early for their morning walks before going to work and timely return each evening (rain or shine) were acts of my love & responsibility for the fur kids. I don’t eat or cook till my fur kids had relieved themselves. Then they happily waited for me to cook their meals. I took pains to nurse them while they were sick. Even when the vet lost hope in my golden, I didn’t believe it. Showering my love and understanding what could motivate my golden helped him to fight well from not being able to walk/eat till he walked/ate again and gradually back to his normal self. Alas, aging and poor health caught up till his last breath at the comfort of my arms. I missed them a lot. I hope sharing my experience give you an assurance that you are leaving your dogs with a responsible individual.
