I have always loved animals and as an only child my pets have always felt more like family to me than my actual family. I love taking care of pets and making new fur (or feathered, even scaled) friends
I've had numerous pets including birds, rodents, dogs, cats and fish. I've loved all my pets very dearly and have photos of them all (present and those who've passed on) very close to my heart. My current pets are 2 dogs and 5 birds. I have 2 miniature doberman pinschers which I love with all my heart and I take them with me wherever I go
I'm extremely responsible, patient and I am observant to detail. I make sure the animal I am responsible for is healthy, safe and happy. Animals do speak, but only to those who are willing to listen. I feel that I get along well with almost all animals I've met in my life and I respect animals with a deep passion.
Currently I'm studying to be an animal scientist which involves hands on work with farm animals. Sheep and goats are my favourite right now because they are so silly and alive with life. I also love dairy cattle as they are gentle giants with massive personalities and beef cattle can be quite affectionate. Chickens are sometimes crazy but they have the wisest eyes and most interesting biology and genetics. Generally, I love animal science because I get to give animal's in the livestock industry a voice and they give us Everything!! I want to ensure that they at least get some respect from us in return. With regards to being a pet sitter, I love knowing that the pet parents can rest easy when I'm looking after their fur kiddies. Also, I find it satisfying to look after pets because I know I always give my best and ending a day with that feeling of another job well done it what I thrive on.

I'm in my final year of animal science that covers animal diseases quite extensively and also companion animal nutrition. I have two special dogs that have to receive medication regularly so I am familiar with various dog medications and how to give them. I could teach a few tricks to dogs such as sit, high five, lay down and roll over.
