I have always loved animals and have wanted to work with them for as long as I can remember. I am passionate about animal welfare and am very interested in giving animals a positive experience based on each animal’s personality and preference.
I have no pets of my own at the moment which is why I am so happy to have yours!
For dog socialization, we will have to meet other friendly dog’s in the neighborhood ( I have already met a few of them). But if your dog does not care for that type of thing then they can have me to themselves.
I currently work with dogs and cat, volunteer with goats, sheep, chickens and mini pigs, and have owned various small animals as a child (mice, hamsters, rabbits).
Since I care about the well being of your animal I focus on your companion’s happiness and will follow care instructions carefully. I will update about eating habits, pooping frequency (colour/dryness too), as well as there overall behaviour when taking care of them.
It is really rewarding to gain the trust of an animal and cuddle with them on the couch.
I think it is great fun to play with animals too; watching a cat’s eyes target on to a toy and seeing their little butt wiggle as they stalk a toy.

Summary.
Short weekend stays are best for me at the moment. I am studying full time and will not be able to give quality time to your pet during weekdays.
About my place:
My garden is tiny (7 m2) and unfenced grass so it for quick bathroom breaks. There are grassy areas nearby for playing. Dogs would primarily be supervised by me and get at least three walks a day. There are 2 dog parks about a 6 or 10 minute walk away from my home if your dog would enjoy time off the leash or to socialize with other dogs.

*I do not mind your dog sleeping on my sofa but if you wish me to discourage that behavior please bring a dog bed.

I feel that physical stimulation is important for your pet's wellbeing so I will base number of walks and play on the animal's needs.
